CHARON WON HABULE is the foundation sire of ORIGEN CHARM SLOUGHIS and one of the most influential dogs behind the kennel’s success. His name is woven into the very identity of ORIGEN CHARM, reflecting his importance not only as a champion but as a cornerstone of our breeding programme.
Born in the Czech Republic – won Habule Kennel (Kateřina Pokorná), Charon represents a unique combination of outstanding breed type, elegance and character. Recognised at the highest international level, he earned the prestigious title of World Winner 2021, alongside numerous championship titles and victories including Best in Show (BIS), Best in Group (BIG), Best of Breed (BOB) and Specialty Show awards.
Beyond his achievements in the show ring, Charon is cherished for his exceptional temperament. Noble, balanced, affectionate and reliable, he embodies the qualities that have made the Sloughi a treasured companion for centuries.
His greatest legacy, however, lies in the generations that follow him. Charon is the proud sire of 17 offspring – 11 born under the ORIGEN CHARM prefix in Slovakia and 6 in the French kennel D’Imi-N’Tanout (Françoise Marin). Today, his influence continues through the next generation as he is already the grandfather of 11 grandchildren born in France.
Charon consistently passes on his elegant outline, correct breed type, effortless movement and remarkable character. Through his descendants, his legacy continues to shape the future of the Sloughi and preserve the qualities that define this ancient North African breed.
